Wembley??

What's that then???

Ah yes, the National Stadium (TM) we allowed to become derelict on the back of a plan to demolish it and build a new National Stadium (TM)...

If they haven't got started by next year send Robbo in, tell them we want it for Campaign 2003 and that we'll give them £50 to take it off their hands.

:D

Hnmmmm, now let me contemplate for a minute or two the last four results of the Scottish squad under their new manager...hmmmmmmmm....interesting !!

And who were your first round opponets in this World Cup ?
Dammit, I forgot, you didn't qualify did you..how remiss of me :)

Robbo (part of a nation thru to the last eight of the World Cup)

Engerland !, Engerland !, Engerland !!

Forget ngland - it's USA all tha Way!

US WIN AMERICA-AND-REST-OF-WORLD CUP MEET

Brian McBride and Landon Donovan tallied a soccerpoint apiece as the USofA soccer stars won their second-phase meet against Not America in the Summer Soccer Kickaround. They recorded a big two-to-zero score as opposing XI Not America failed to
make the sort of offensive plays that troubled the Italians (a kind
of American found in Mafia movies) in their previous match-up. It's
the first soc-casion the US have made an elimination-round
advancement in the Kickaround, sponsored by Mastercard.

Bruce Arena, the head coach of the US soccer side, took five from
making major tactical calls to talk up his right-sided running back,
Claudio Reyna of the Sunderland Blackcats. "Claudio played a position he's not used to and we came through big," said Arena. "I'm proud of my guys and it is a great day for US soccer. Mexico are a great team who were just a few minutes away from qualifying from the group with three wins, so this was an impressive victory."

Not America captain Rafael Marquez, who was sent to the sin-bin for a arsekick-headbutt super-combo on 88 thus giving a time-remainder powerplay to US, blamed his side's defeat on a totally bogus psychological mindset. "We tried to change a little after their first goal, so did they and we were caught cold which made us despair a little and took away some of our drive to equalize and made us careless at the back."

The soccer-mad Not Americans are stunned by this addition to their loss stats, but we gotta move on; the States square off against a suspiciously un-American team called Germany on
Friday. USA! USA! USA!

The people from the north of Hadrians Wall i know are not going backwards in the Gene Pool they are at the bottom of it and seem happy there! (according to a recent survey)

But I am sure Pat, Big Syd, Wee-man and all the other Scotish paintball players may have something to say on the matter. But it is always cause for a great debate, as they are all closet Enlish men, but are in denial (or in Syd's case, in d canal, well nearly hay Syd!?!?!)

Oh well..... will still love you guys anyway

First off the only team I don't want to see win is the US of A not cause I hate americans cause all the ones i have met have been cracking or had a cracking........any way. the reason being it would be the most unappreciated win EVER. It was in there country and on something like 15% knew it was taking place (yea big place etc etc but with the ammount of TV they watch)

2nd like Jeeves I am not unpatriotic (English/Welsh split) but I think england will have trouble. Yea Brazil can't defend a good cross but Becks is not playing great (holding the team together well though) and his crosses at the mo are poor. Owens been a bit dry why the Fnck is Hesky on the pitch. Should not start, Owen and Fowler to start with Sheringham ready for it.

Hats off to Butt, Ferdinand and Sinclar it has been there World Cup.

But I think Brazil will edge this one.

Korea BRING IT ON Love them they have supported us like anything and have been a great underdog side. hardly one team in the 1/4 finals that any one would have predicted. USA to beat Germany but to lose to us or Brazil.

Any way good luck England but is luck enuff..................
