Maybe its an issue with the board? I'm sure if you sent it back explainging the issue you'd get anew one sent out. Its probably better than you spending more money to try and fix it.

hi thank you for all your imput but i think the problem been solved.
The other night wen i was having problems i did not realise that my mate turned the reg right down so i was getting some shots but alot was getting stuck and the eyes would blink etc....
so today i was playing about and turned up the reg and way hey fine so far even put my old battery in and it still works...

at least it sorted
when you crono it may be an idea to count the turns from shut to level needed then if you happen to change it due to cleaning ect you can put it back somewhere near.but never the less least it sorted now m8

Glad that you found out what the problem was. Best not to play with any settings before using a new gun as it'll be set up to work out of the box.
I would suggest using the manual to reset the Hyper3 to stock settings to get it running as it should.
