There became issues with electronic guns the day they were invented.

Now it is definitely becoming a problem at all levels. But the current solutions are only catching the innocent.

Right now the only way to make sure your gun is legal for the stupid test being used in LA, IS TO CHEAT in the software.

Is that they way they want to force things to go?

As Baca says, they were definitely some issues with guns at LA, but unlike Jim Drew I have no intention of making accusations I can't back up without proof. But believe me, we are working on ways of proving what is going on with the guns.

aren't we nowadays talking about 2 sorts of bounce
the old fashion trigger bounce and the Board "enhanced" bounce

because it seems to me in less then a year the more 'underground' board bounce has become mainstream
and the triggerbounce is what is still be tested if i understood Manike correctly

because it seems to me a year ago most players were doing their trigger jobs to shoot as fast as possible
with some people having their trigger set so they got more balls of a single trigger pull
now with some boards it seems u can set
how much balls u shoot per triggerpull within the board

see the Syndicate angel mod
http://pbhub.de/jump.php?http://web107.basicbox7.server-home.net/angel-board.zip

and the rippboard

http://www.kressas.net/

so to me it seems there are definitely two sorts of bounce and off course both might be seen as cheating but i really think the boards bounce is the most grave danger to the sport
because lots of people will use with the excuse that somebody else does it too
or the debounce boards are standard on markers already

Igniton USA.

But the pbstar report is bollocks anyway.

here is what one of the players posted on AO and it matches what the Captain was telling me yesterday.

I find this article by PBSTAR very funny and should set the record straight. I play for team Ignition and was at the PSP LA this weekend. We did not have any guns banned, nor did we recieve any penalty's for our guns being "cheater guns" all weekend. I am not sure where PB STAR is getting there info, but like real world media, is and can be wrong and sometimes misleading. Yes, we stuck it to Thunderstruck, Yes we sent them home, No our guns were not banned and we never penalized for any gun related issues.

Truth from the source.

Yet if you read carefully, that reply simply states that they were never penalized for using illegal guns, not that their guns were legal.

I could care less about Ignition or Thunderstruck or their guns, but all the Ignition responses say the same thing when you read between the lines.

As stupid as the testing is, I think the point is that your gun fired two shots on one trigger pull; thereby defying the classification of semi-auto.

But yah, the testing is bull****. The fact that you got penalized, too, was asinine, but I doubt it had an effect on your standings.

But trust me, you don't want them using a fancy chronograph and trigger pull equipment either. The nature of electronic switches and current setups would have lots of guns, if fired in the manner they are being used (say 18 rapid shots), actually firing more than 18, and also, defying the definition of semi-auto.

I am not saying I am not guilty...but when you are really on your gun, do you seriously think that every ball that comes out signifies a seperate trigger pull, that your electronic gun doesn't bounce at all? :p

Manike, sorry to hear what you had to deal with in L.A
As to Jim Drew I don't get it why anyone would want to listen what he has to say. On different boards he has quite an numerous times managed to prove what an ars he can be.

As to the trigger bounce issue and PSP I think its good they are starting to do something about it as players had got used to play with guns giving insane bounce.
