That thread makes me want to get sociological on your asses. In short, gender and masculinity/femininity are socially constructed and don't exist anyway, we just perform the roles. Some (Butler, 1999) argue that behind all concious outward performances of gender lies the opposite in repression (ie hyper-masculine "real" men are probably at home wearing women's clothes or jerking off to pictures of their dad). So, we're all gay because there is no such thing as straight.
