It's not 'much tighter' AT ALL.
It makes the gun closer to your body - which is a different thing entirely - believe me.
My thoughts on how to 'shoulder' your marker? Just like anyone would with a regular gun/rifle - the mechanics DON'T change. It's the correct way to do it - into your shoulder, not on top or under your arm.
If you do it any other way - then change cos I'm afraid to tell you that you are handicapping yourself!!
