ok, well the only problem is the person who owns my local place says that every fibre bottle has a 3yr test??? but the reason i asked was because i saw bottles goin that said 5yr test. So if it is 5yr how do i explane this to him without him thinking im trying to kill myself on a out of test bottle?

Dont you think it would be easier if places put a date for when it needed new test instead of when it was tested?

have a browse around the ukpsf website, i saw a whole page of infor with regards to bottle testing on there i think, you could print that off and give it to your site owner and point out his lack of knowledge!

"All cylinders manufactured to EN 12245 and Pi certified to comply with the TPED start with a retest period of 5 years from date of manufacture".

taken off the site above, seems fairly black and white to me regardless of the july thing, but if you want to spend upwards of £15/20 getting it tested then thats up to you!

i tried my best to help :D
