Lanark.
I use.......

I just use standard football boots as they provide enough grip of the field. Just half to watch when sliding.:(

Go alternative. Bite Footwear. I've been using River Runners since June, Love 'em. Ever walked up a wet rock? Thought not.

To see 'em, click on the link in the sig. Look in the "Outdoor" section, and shoes, and "DXL". River Runners. Love 'em. Lightweight, grippy on everything, and rugged to take the worst slides I can dish on 'em.

Then again, I'm a sponsored player. Regardless, think "outside" the box. They rock.

Can't go wrong with a pair of these:

Sturdy, grippy, warm, and coolest of all, waterproof!
When picking a pair of shoes, make sure you think about the sort of surface they'll be used on though. The shoes in the pic are designed for American Football, and are grippy as hell when standing on grass and mud. They're not going to do you any good when playing on sandy or rocky surfaces for instances. For those types of terrain, perhaps the Dye ATC could be a good choice (see WPG for details on those).

I have a pair of Pony American Football boots that I use, or will be as soon as the new season starts :)

Unfortunatley they werent sourced from this country and someone bought them back from Florida for me.. If you can find a source for American Football type trainers I am sure a fair number of people will be interested :)

This might just me, But i find footy boots/soccer really hurt your feet after a while because ur walking off field aswell and walking on hard services really can take a toll on ur feet if ur wearing studdies. This might be just me.

But i recommend the DYE cleats. Or astro boots do the trick aswell.
