the ECX was one of the lower end 2nd Generation timmies (best built generation of timmys)
There was that many 2nd Gen timmys all with different boards and some had LED's or Lcd screens - dont worry too much if it hasnt gotta LCD Screen, its one less thing to worry about, but fingers crossed for a WAS Board as they are a wonder board.
Timmys have a sorta feel about them, some will say cheap, other will say the result of how the clam shell is set out - but they dont feel particularly sturdy, although dont let that put you off as they are - ive owned 3 and loved em.
They have a real simple design so if you look after it, it will look after you, Maintenence is p**s easy, keep it nicely lubed and buy some spare detents as the can go at the worst times

i got a WAS in my 2k2, do they really make a diffrence? cos i can clock up 14/15 bps and i only use im bored so im not used to the trigger
