i know timmys run well below that, mine was around 70psi i think, it never went above 100 anyway.

That is LPR pressure, the same as an EGO (only much, much, much less refined!), for operating the Solenoid at a safe pressure. The actual volume of air that fires the ball, is much higher than that, 100-150psi.
