i bought a BLACK MAGICK 2002 used. have used it 2 times. first time it worked great, second time NOT... the first day i got shoot right in the 3way ram and lpr. i cleaned it and oiled it. the clearing between the back block and body is 2mm.when i pull the bolt back(no air on the gun)i can see about 2mm of it. i havent adjusted anything.

THE PROBLEM is when i fire, sometimes it shoots and sometimes is sounds like the gun wont get enough air and the ball lands 1 feet infront of me or just stays in the barrel, then i will have a break. i have tried to just shoot air and the sound it makes is strange. it is not the clear and single PANG but more like a puff or multible puffs at the same time. Im a noob and im used to shoot with a spyder, but i just had to have a autococker :) i spent several hours surfing the internett to find a soulution, but me english is not that good pluss i cant really put the problem good enough on a paper. hope u can help me plz. ohh and the 3way lets air out in front when i fire, maybe thats normal...
HELP! thx

sounds to me like it just needs timeing, but as baca loco rightly says have a look at the sticky about cockers....

also sounds like you made the big cocker mistake! NEVER take anything off to oil it etc....

you will learn very quickly that with cockers if it aint broke dont try and fix it...............if your front end gets hit give it a wipe dont start moving anything......dont strip it and oil it after every game eather....all u need to do is put a blob of vaselene on the bolt orings and a drop of oil in the inline reg every now and then

my advise is read what you can on the net....then have a go at retiming it yourself if that dont work find somone (at a shop probably) that knows about cockers and ask him/her to look at it

sudden thought, just reread everything..........

take the bolt out again and make sure that you put it back in the right way up!

With those symptoms it's likely your sear lug and/or bolt in upside down. Take it to someone who know what they're doing

Well the bolt is correctly installed and i havent opened or dismantled anything in the 3way, regulator or that chamber were the hammer is. i only oiled around the 3way and were the bolt moves.

So i have to adjust the timing when there is not enough air to shoot the ball more than 1 feet??

When i pull the trigger it blows air out of the lp regulator and 3way, and the bolt is moving back. then when i release the trigger(sometimes it hangs) the gun shoots-or tries to :)

Thx for ur help!!:D

If you're marker is firing on the return stroke of the trigger, you need to have the three way timed. Have someone professional do this for you (it'll make it ALOT easier on you). Also, if air is venting out of your LPR (which I think you may be mistaken on, but...) you could have a whole set of pressure problems. Take it and have it tuned up by a qualified tech.
