sorry to say Entity couldn't actually have gone through with the win having looked at the table

I think they could have - unless they have changed some of the qualifying rules from malaga

Top 16 teams went through then - so top 2 from each group, plus 4 more

1 match point with a decent points difference could have been enough to go through as one of the addtional 4 into the final 16

7eme Compagne Nancy finished 3rd in their group with a score of 1/-2 and got through into the last 16 in malaga as an example

It was possible (unless there has been a change from malaga)

ahh I wondered what you meant about the 'wildcard' you mentioned earlier. I didn't realise that both SPL and div 1 dont have 8 divisions so some best runners-up will go through.
In that case, it was possible but quite unlikely because they needed a 4-0 win to get their point difference up.

Yeah D1 is a bit undersubscribed this year, so I wasnt really sure how that affected the qualifying, but going on what happened in malaga, it seems like you get 4 "runner up teams" like you say

Nexus win 5-1 so they are through as comin at ya and ton tons cant both end up better than them after they face each other.
Tigers and Disruption are both through and have to play each other still to decide who wins the group and who plays who in the next round.
JCS won all their games in M5 too.

I think it is only 2 runner up teams in spl, cos there are 7 groups - 2 winners out of each group thats 14 then plus the 2 next highest scorers.
