Have to agree with little Dex there. last season 2010 was enjoyable, just go out for some fun, no moaning, no stress, just get out and play. All the lads had plenty fun, and looked forward to either the relaxed trainning days or tourney. Infact so relaxed, they were shooting at each other before hitting the buzzer:doh:

03/04 was one of the funest besterest years of my life! MS, Xball, PA, MM, Alias Timmys, HB was jaw dropping, even from my computer screen (props MissyQ!)

Oh yes 2004, the Alias Timmy. The absolutely must have shootiest gun of all time (according to Flash, my Dark made me play better, go figure). Totally the reason behind todays RoF caps, and the fact that tournament is now gay. I mean the unwritten rule in 2004 was, if you haven't reloaded it ain't overshooting.

The reason 04 was so great was the last year before paintball disappeared up it's arse with gaylord rules. The retirement list of 04 tells a story.....

i'm not sure of the years as I was mostly drunk but early 2000s, First with Dyehard. then K2 followed by Jags and Phoenix. Guested for loads of teams and enjoyed every single minute.

02/03, Power won the Nov MS, we all hada good season, every month the weekend away just got better. Crystal Palace, Toulouse, Lisbon all great events (Lisbon had issues but it was 82c in the shade!) Jack streaking during the AA's game for 130 Eur, Driven home from the club by mr Schmitt who had not been drinking but had eyes like a Gekko (don't ask), some kid liking my Lotus over Giles' new Porsche convertible (with booster seat!), most conversations with Piper, evenings in the bar with Cashmore, Moose, The Tigers, Rushers, Jags and Wolf all teams we just had a blast with. Bouja - top blokes, Banzai and K2, so many nights of lost hours. Scutty ripping some Americans to bits in Toulouse square whilst a ver pissed Simon shouted USA.

2k2/3. Back when the Midlands Masters was the fun, friendly league to play, where everyone camped over and every tournament was a festival. With my hetero life partners the Pimps.

Snap, you guys trained me whenever I was at the site and taught me how to catch a pheasant, cool dudes! MM was a great league.

Oh, and in 2k4 ish I subbed with Showtime(cool dudes again) and played Banzai in the final, ended up with me against 5 and resulted in Ledz running me over as he charged round the inflatable.

1994. I had my Automag, the team (Harlequins) had followed Storm and all switched from CO2 to HPA, putting us on the bleeding tech edge. We had Ivan from Renegade in the team so were all looking natty in the latest Foxwood camo. There were still 10 man events around on humungous fields and the scene in the South East had events every single weekend. APG, Eurosplat, Sidcup, Mayhem Abridge, Detling, Dragon's Lair. We either played a tournament or practised EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND (seems unbelievable now, I've not practised in about 15 years!) at West Point. We won the Young Gun part of the Gold Cup and were finally gelling as a decent middling team.

It all went to crap in 1995 of course and by the time I go interested in playing tournaments again bouncy-castle-ball had arrived.

I miss woodland 10 man.
