best way to put a sp guage on?

usually the same stuff i put feednecks on with, ill go check to find which it is, purple/dark blue i think, its mainly as a sealant really.
Gauges tend not to come off easily in my experience, also if your putting it on a shocker watch out how far you screw it in due to the vert asa screw having to pass through and the gauge can interfere as the screw head is quite large

I have some 243 loctite (red package) (I have used a little) which is a light set, that someone can have if they need it.
Forget liquid PTFE It’s not designed to be used at high pressure it’ll be a hit and miss affair.
222 is low strength and ideal for applying on those annoying screws that come undone with vibration, you don’t really want to use it on high pressure fittings.
Stick with Loctite 242 / 243 medium strength. Or evan 577 with is a medium strength gooey Loctite which ideal on loose fitting items also great on your bottle reg’s fill nipple and gauges.
