i have always used a light oil in my fennycocker,stuff like air tool oil,light hydraulic oil but at the moment i have a supply of compressor oil(for oiling up Jaguar superchargers) which i got from work.
i found grease dragged on the bolts slowing it down so never was struck on that idea personally,and as has been said before everything sticks to it.
