I know first hand of the pain and destruction that cancer causes. Currently have a family member who is 10 months out of treatment and all is good so far.
Glad to hear that your family has made it to the end of the tunnel in one piece. Best of luck for the future, its nice to hear some positive news when the word 'cancer' is mentioned.

I'm sure your daughter will go on to do great things now.

All the best

Chef i feel for you. I hope they get better soon, believe they get better soon and give them all the support possible. My daughter had a 40% chance of survival. I will never forget those words. All i thought was what 40 effin percent. They were not sure how to treat it, i was asked to make a choice on how to treat her. Give her 6 types of chemo or 3. How can anyone make that decision. It was put into a lottery system and she was given 3. 18 months old when she was diagnosed she is now 7 and a real joy to be around. All the best Alan for you and your family

I'm with you there....I heard similar words spoken to my father in law. along the lines of " you have a 40% chance of making another five years" but as of yet the fight continues and all is going well. Its harsh when the bloke is on 43 but nowhere near as harsh as being a baby.

As I said already, its awesome news to hear of a success story when there is so much negative news surrounding cancer in this day and age. Fingers crossed for that 40%!

well done for hanging in there
