Best mask to start off with - glasses worn.

Hey all, thanks for the replies and the advice out of interest for players wearing glasses do you normally discover your glasses steam up before the mask? if so do you apply an anti fog solution to the glasses lenses, ive had a brand called Foggex recommended to me.
I am a bit disappointing to hear about the fan but as with most things i have seen mixed reviews, most stating its noisy but some stating its immense, if i win the bid ill try it out but won't loose sleep if i don't

There are uk stockist for both. The flexr works the best but the habervision looks tidier. I have used all three and still use flexr's on single pane grillz lenses which dont fog in situations where my friends i4's (famous for not fogging) have.

I use the habervision fans... got a couple of them in different goggle sets

if its wet out my glasses, and sometimes the mask if its really bad, tend to steam.

no experience with other fans but i got a 2 pack of Chinese 20mm x8mm fans off ebay... cost 11 quid for both i think? anyway the point is - one wired up to a 9v, a resistor and a toggle switch before being cable tied to the vents on top of your mask is really effective - flick it on and it clears steam in under 5 seconds.

only reason i say this is cos it costs a fart compared to premade systems if you have a soldering iron

Have you tried 1 day acuvue trueye contact lenses?

Contacts used to irritate me, but these are amazing, you hardly know you're wearing them.

I am new to the sport so I went to LIPS and tried a few different ones on. I also wear glasses and I ended up with the Vforce grills. The i4's were also good but left a lot of my jaw line exposed.
I don't suffer with my glasses steaming up in the grills.

Sensible approach... try before you buy. @L.i.P.S provide excellent service and by having the stock you got to select a mask that was aligned to your preferences!

The Virtue fan works with anything that can take the Virtue visor. This is basically all masks with "slat" style top venting (instead of round holes likeold JT masks).

In addition, you can get fans designed for ski goggles, but in my experience they are not as good.

The best universal goggle fan is from Maplins:
one or two mini fans (approx 20mm), a battery pack and some zip ties

route the battery pack to the back of the strap or one side of the goggles

If you are handy at a bit of diy then you could make a compact fan similar to the paintball branded ones

My uncle who plays wear dye i4 with his glasses and has always said it's been very comfortable for him
