they all have good points and bad.
as for accuracy as everyone has said is down to the person and the conditions. i'm shooting a sl8r and dm8 now and both just as good as each other.
as for mini's they pretty accurate too (certainly when they shooting at me) though a couple of guys have had probs with em.PM7/8 seem pretty good.

I agree with what's said above.
Personal Preference is what counts, I am perfectly happy with mine (I wont say what i have to avoid a flame war) but really it depends on what you want it for, what you foresee yourself doing with it (Like playing tourney or maybe going into woodsball) how often you will use it. Also, its good to just ignore anything that is said about your marker, weather it be on the fields or on a review site, its weather you like it or not.
All sorts of factors affect a purchase (well to me anyway) :-b

cockers are accurate guns but are quite heavy i shoot a karnivor at the moment and love the way it shoots but my old ego8 shot well and my mini shoots fine (when its working) getting a shocker soon aas i shot a borrowed one at the last tourney and they are good too. there is no definitive answer to what the best marker is just shoot as many guns as you can to see which one you like best not what other people like best.

What is the best gun around??

i have got abit of money and looking for something that is a little bit speical?
any ideas?
cheers medley
So, ignoring the fact that whatever you shoot, you have to be comfortable with it.

The best markers, are all much of a muchness.

DM7 (not the DM8)
Ego 7,8,9
GEO (most likely going to be awesome)
Shocker (though it pains me to say it)
Angel (not really an Angel person, but they seem to work)

So, then you have the pimped and uber pimped versions of those markers.

DM7, various "Private Label" versions or, full on one off customs.
Ego 7,8 Would be the SL74 and SL8R. I imagine there will be a special 09 as well.
Shocker Again, various Private jobbies and then the LUXE as the top one.
Angel, again Joy versions etc.

And then of course, you can have have your marker, anodised, lazer engraved, Gold plated if you really want.

So if you just want to be able to say, my marker is the sh!t and it's the only one like it, pick one from the second list and then pimp it if you feel the need.

ok seeing as nobody has given you a straight answer i thought i'd try.

i've used a mini for the past 4 months.now i've found that my mini for the first 20k shots was amazing, never broke a ball always shot straight and i was mowing fools. now after a bit of time i started getting a lot of problems with chopping paint. and i was finding that i had to lube my bolt 3/4 times a tourney (8 games) which is annoying to say the least. now after a while longer it settled down. why it did this i have no idea. but a mini is a good, cheap, and easy to maintain gun.

how ever, like has been said over the thread it would be best to ''try before you buy'' so to speak.

Good guns to look at would be,
D/PM 07
PMR (if the DM7 or PM7 is too pricey)
Eteks
Ego' 05/6 (07/8 if you can afford it.)
Geo (also if you can afford it)
Angel A1
Invert Mini.

all this thread is posted in my opinion and experiences, feel free to flame ;)
