Is there a particular reason why people recommend the freak or is it an attempt to justify an illadvised purchase made by themselves?

I am curious because I have one and they are shockingly awful. My friend has one it is also awful. Another friend had one and that too was awful.

As far as multi-bore barrels sets go the evil pipe kit has alway been better from my experience as it lined up straighter (but never perfect), not as easy to damage the backs/inserts, not rifled porting and looks better than the freak system.

BUT.... The best barrel at the moment though is the un1tec barrel from Lucky. Ignore the bollocks about how people say how light and quite it is, that doesnt matter and in no way helps me come to my conclusion. The key feature of this barrel kit is the fact that it offers multiple bore widths with NO STEP! The advantages this has over any other multi-bore barrel set is obvious to anyone.

it's an open discussion an one that would probably roll on and on. I got a freak kit with a marker as part of an all-in deal. I have got on fine with mine and haven't had any problems, a couple of guys I play alongside also use freak kits and don't have a problem with them. I've never used the lucky kits so can't comment though the general feedback on them is good.

Arg it looked more like unjustified opinion offering more than an open discussion with most of the reccomendations having no information as to how their opinion was formed.

I also feel its differcult to make an opionion without testing all options.

When applying the rules of physics, I cant see as to why this will go on and on.

My advise should hopefully save people some money.

Been using a empire revolver barrel kit and find it excellent

nice and light and if your a fan of inserts its simple to you can take the front of and change the insert while the back is still on the gun

Not sure what you're getting at here chap?

I was merely offering an opinion based on what I have used and didn't rubbish any of the alternatives. At the end of the day it's down to personal choice, I got my freak kit on the cheap and get along fine with it. :)

Though if anyone fancies sending me a un1tec set I'd be happy to try that too :D :D
