As for the hopper, i would have to go for the Z board egg. It will work just as good for both of the guns. As for the barrels i have found that the standard ion barrel is very good, and for the spyder i used to use the evil pipe kit (a little expensive but never the less good) and never had a problem.
I use a reloader B on my ion, its the best hopper ive used, no question.
I wouldnt bother with a qloader, cos the reload speed takes ages, and weighs down the front of your gun, so it isnt really pracitcal, The reloader b will feed faster than you will ever shoot anyway.
The apex looks nice, but its not tourney legal.
I use a freak set, its wicked and gives me no problems!!!

im making the decision between the egg II with z board and the qloader,....
both the same price, qolader looks totally dope and is soo unique, con i have to switch to the spare pod it comes with if i shoot more thna 100rds. eggII pro shoot 170+ rds and flip lid to reload,cons everybodsy got one, gets hit a lot, electronic

im leaning twards the qloader, i dont care about the time it takes to reload one during a break.

what format are you playing?
If you are playing tournament i wouldnt touch the qloader, your gonna shoot your paint and get mugged.
I wouldnt have a qloader anyway, but it may suit you in the woods.

if it were me i'd go with the egg II, everyone has one...so what? lol, it must be a good hopper if everyone has one, and you can customize it with stickers/decals, anything. plus with an egg II you'll be able to hold more paint, as you will have your hopper as well as all your pods. Chris
