I'd pick Eddie Lowe but he's not really a back player is he??

Other than that;

1. Ledz - you havent retired so you gotta go first up on my list (and I aint blowing smoke up my sponsors arse either in case anyone was wondering - watch him for yourself)
2. Nicky Truter - frustrated mid player and developing back man of the highest order - can finish a game like very few others out there - I've seen him do it soo often.
3. Martin Rowe - Coming to the fore late on with new technique and practice ethos - get fit and rule dude!!
4. Danny Williams - paint monster!!!!!!!! Real hard to shoot out too!! Old skool choice but great dedicated back man
5. James Adkin - Method young 'un with all the style - watch out for future pro star in the making (a personal tip for the top). Front player making the transistion to the back spot!!

If I had more choices I'd add the likes of Mr Diggard who should be up there - when he gets an e-blade he's gonna be REALLY bad ass!!

Oh and Davey Hall - ex Rushers dead eye back man - never a big talker on the field - let his gun do it for him!!

There are soo many new guys coming thru these days - Nexus Eclipse has some good uns, Method developing some too.

The game is less about back players as such these days - and more about another row of mid/inserts to use!!

The futures bright!! Who knows what this list will be like next year!!

Here's my 5 :)

Nicky T - technical back player who's a bitch to shoot out. He communicates really well and can kill off a game in a heartbeat.

Leigh Diggard - Eclipse - Stylish playa, likes to go forward and doesnt stop talking. Keep an eye out for him!

Ledzymon - Heart and Soul of Nexus. He gives everything a back playa can give and is the king when it comes to being outnumbered  And winning!

Ross Botterol (sp?) - Ecstacy - A true Killer, probably one of the most underated players I know. Goes about his business quietly.

Danny Williams - Hybrid - Hard to shoot out, shouts his arse off and shoots a tonne of paint. Can't ask for much more than that :)

You woulda been there Marky, but it's your fault cos youv'e retired ;) :p

Quality player - always prepared to listen and learn - paint monster and killer combined!!

Thanks for the reminder Tommy (and that I've retired - CAN I!!!! Oh yeah - I did!!)
