Takes a lot of training and hard work, only in rare cases can you take a team from nov to pro,(although the Kelly's were a quaility side last year and i think they were nov, and they had pro skills), the best way to go pro is what a mate of mine did and get spotted, and playing for the freaks i am sure that you know tom pemberton, talk to him about it. mainly though it revolves around sponsorship, entry fees for pros are much higher, and the competition is rightly very hard.

are the freaks looking to go pro??

you could join a feeder team for a pro team and impress and get asked to join? or win a number of serious events, eg millennium series at AM level, or win the series and sponsors will be falling over themselves to sign you up to pro, just look what happened to Trauma in the US, they dominated every NPPL event and then moved up to pro.takes a lot of £££ to stay in the PRO bracket and actually compete, travel etc...... perform well and sponsors will eventually pick you up....i guess:p

The short and cynical answer:

Find enough money to pay the pro entry fee, et viola, you're a pro.

The realistic answer:

Like most of the posters already said, play your a$$ off until you get noticed, move up a division, repeat. Paintball's not like other sports where you have to win a qualifying event to turn pro. The only requirement is being able to pay the entry fee.

Of course, if you don't have the talent to compete at that level it's not going to be much fun.:p
