Why does everyone say cocker's alway's break down? I've played all the nppl's for the past 3 year's on cocker sponsored teams, and 90% of the time when any gun let alone a cocker goes down it's operator error. I've never had a cocker problem that wasn't somehow my fault in 15 nppl events and countless local tournament's. This thread is pointless it was a joke. They are not shooting cocker's.
I played for Maxim 2 Factory, and Viewloader. We very rarely had problems that weren't our own fault. Once you get them set you just don't touch them. It took us until the 3rd event this year to get them on field and still shooting fast. But once we figured it out they railed but then all that meant was more trips to the robot. Cockers can still be competitive especially w/ the bps cap in the psp. In the NPPL they can to but it just took us 1/2 the year to figure it out. As far as reliability is concerned you set everything and then loc-tite the **** out of it and then your done.Originally posted by Baca Loco
Lighten up, melonhead. (I'm gonna enjoy saying that.) So what team are we talking 'bout? Or, actually what team are you talkin' about? "Cocker sponsored" isn't very specific. Nor are there many (any?) big time teams shooting cockers right now. I know the JT guys used to really like their cockers--when they were working--but had lots of trouble keeping them up and running. I myself was once upon a time a hardcore cocker guy--and still, from time to time, go out and play with my CCM J2 (the world's sweetest cocker clone) so I ain't anti-cockers. Even so, I wouldn't really want to use them competitively anymore.
So what gun your guys shooting this season?
