Battle of the Brit Tourney Series

Baca Loco

Ex-Fun Police
You people do this all the time anyway so you should have plenty of ammo at the ready.
Object: to either attack or defend the various home grown tourney series.
Rules:
1) ALL statements made must be spectacularly outlandish or bizarre and the further from any sense of reality the better.
2) nothing in this thread should be taken seriously and should be treated purely as a form of entertainment.

Examples---Why do they call it the Dartford 7's when they play 5-man? (Subtle but stupid on a number of levels.) I think the Pro league would better represent British paintball if any and every team that wanted to was allowed to play.

(This is the perfect thread for some of you as you can post your usual stuff and peeps might mistake it for attempts to be witty and clever when you had no such thoughts in mind. :p :) )

Is the PA League still the Motorola National Paintball League or did they have to give the walkie-talkies back?

I think the Pro league is a great idea, as people can see the top teams in the country battle it out whilst they play at their own level alongside.

it also gives other top teams an insentive to win their own tournaments to try to get into the pro league at the end of the year (not sure how this works but i think its along those lines).

Staying warm on a sunday!
the PA rocks the mic for the extreme grass sledding

a new PA sponsored league has now been introduced on the saturday

ESC

(the extreme sledding championship)

special ESC footwear needs to be worn, and must be accompanied by a pair of really outlandish shades....

marks are given on style, stayonability, crazy jibba jabba and after comment upon dismount

Is it true that those that oppose the PA are pulled into a white-walled room with bright lights in and interrogated by Russell across a steel desk with the use of high voltage electricity then sent to the Hatts Institute of Re-education and Enlightenment and hypnotised to the tune of 'all hail the PA saviours of British paintball' until fully versed in the hype and propaganda?

Or is that just a rumour?

need to get hold of Tank for an exit
That's just a rumour - of course nobody can confirm it, as they've all been re-educated.

What is true is that everyone who opposes the PA has actually been to, and played in, one of the PA League events. That and they are all also experts in running tourneys, and have made massive steps in moving tournament paintball forwards towards not just acceptence, but increasing public knowledge and perception.

Or something ;)

The room is covered top to bottom in some sort of foam in an egg box shape which is claimed to reduce the level of screaming coming out of the room, as for the desk, well we now use a wooden one because of the high voltage may cause the wrong person to be punished.
We have also changed the type of punishment we dish out because I am sure Mad Dog was smiling when I clamped the leads onto his nuts.
And thats a FACT :)
