Sorry to threadjack, but i wondered what the issues were about using rechargeables in halos and markers?

Ive had a search but some people say its okay, some people dont!

Cheers for the find on those cheap batteries dude!

General view is that std rechargeables don't have sufficient capacity to operate markers and hoppers for more than a few minutes. You can get high capacity rechargeable but as they are quite a bit more expensive it kind on negates the benefit.

Sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong

Correct, I use re-chargeables on my plane to manage the servos and reciever. The battery packs last ages but the plane doesnt use that much juice in one go (Powered by an engine) you could mabey make a "battery pack" but to its way easier to buy new batterys. God, we are so into recycling :rolleyes:

the best buy i have found it duracell them selfs, 100% extra free in my local petrol station 4 + 4 free but best of all was 10 +10 free for £7.99 for 20 m3s :D
so i have bought 2 packs every time i fill p with fuel
