big big titties
as i said, you have to know people in the business;)

look for:

people that work for MOD (they have boxes of 20 green batteries, which are actually exactly the same as duracell plus

people who work for the NHS (hospital equipment needs batteries)

people who work with cameras, video equipment etc

or people who import that sort of thing

:D

if not, then you can go to a local market and usually duracall plus are sold for £2.50 each, or buy the 10 pack bulk deal from planet, 10 procell for like £15

Both charger and batteries are over priced, you should be able to get a charger for about £10, and NiMh 9v PP3 batteries for about £6.

Shop around, even Maplins are cheaper than argos.

Check the cheap shops, they always have chargers sometimes around £5.

OK, rechargable 9 volt batteries really arn't great. Not suitable for high drain applications. Fine for a gun but don't really last in a loader.

Rechargable aa's are great, I feed them to my Digital camera.

Only problem is that rechargable batteries are lower voltage than alkaline. 1.2 volt per cell rather than 1.5. So your halo battery pack running 6 alkaline aa's = 9 volts, 6 rechargables = 7.2 volts and a low battery light!!!

Answer = Buy Procells!!!
