For your Blaze, .689 is the best bet & seems to be the favorite. Don't use Zap at all so I can't help you there, but I think it may be a slightly smaller ball so though you'd lose some accuracy & range at least you shouldn't get breaks from the barrel being too small.

a let's face it that's more important. If the shots are les accurate, shoot more.
Barrel bursts however, well theres no quick or cheap way of dealing with them, espechially mid game.

Well i would have to go with a DYE barrel, maybe the boomstick.

For my personal use, I carry a 14" Ultralite, 12" DYE SS, 11" Armson SSR (EXCELLENT and totally underrated barrel), 10" BOA snakebite, CP Pro, and probably soon I'll have a Rocket barrel from Animal Paintball. I'm also pondering an Aardvark Snort barrel as soon as they have them back in stock again.

If you're thinking about getting a boomstick, which isn't at all a bad barrel, see if you can get it used and/or get an Ultralite. I love mine.
