I agree with Si, hated the freak on my Eclipse Impy, loved the scepter I had on me Eclipse Cocker

You can't beat a nice boomstick though, although I do have doubts about the 2 piece ones, always preffered a single piece as long as you have a decent paint match...

If you want multibore get a scepter, single bore buy a boomyor ultralite, or even a dye excel/SP AA if ya on a budget

I'm suprised to hear you were unhappy with the freak!

Mind you lots of people like Angels and the two i've shot were piles of ****e!!!

if you have the cash get 3 boomsticks, a std bore a smaller and a larger, then more bore sizes if u want em. this is what i intend to do, no compramises just pure quailty

i hear great things about the freak, but then again, u can argue about everything in paintball

yeah im afraid im another non beliver in the freak

first thing i did when i got my impy was sell the freak that came with it and buy an ultralite

the pipe from evil looks a nice bit of kit tho, no inserts to mess with just change the whole back

got an ultralight on the way for my cocker. this gonna be a good buy? better be as ive gone and bought it now! hows it with different paint sizes? is it a good bore size? - the standard.

I run Nelson Pearl, Anarchy and chronic through my Ultralite and have never had a problem with it, .688 is a good all round bore size and lets face it... how many of the freak inserts do people actually use??

Same here... .688 Ti Boomstick, and it's a prefect size for the Nelson paint we use (top paint by the way).

I think when I had my freak I only really used 2 inserts.

Inserts

I regret buying the whole kit I regularly shoot the .687 red insert, sometimes the .689 when using chronic and once the .691.

The rest of the inserts are just a waste, unless I get a dodgy batch of paint when one might save a days play! Who knows I might be grateful one day!

Get Your Freak On

Well, I hate to disagree with Si (coz he's giving me a lift on Monday ) but I have been using a freak for a while now and have been highly impressed. I have had bad days but that was a lot to do with the absolutely awful paint I was shooting...

The only think that I disliked about my Freak was the Tear-drop front which (should you get a ball break in it) is impossible to clean mid-game and pretty dificult to clean in between. I now have a freak Junior front which is just as good but easier to clean.

I like em, but then again for the same price as 3 boomeys you can get a freak, all the inserts and still have change. Still when they get em to spark like a Ti boomey I shall be a happy man
