To test the theory of longer barrels being less efficient chrono your marker with a 14" (or similar shorter length) barrel. Then without altering anything fit on the 21"- your fps will go down. You therefore need to crank up the velocity (amount of air/co) to achieve the same fps as the 14".

No a 21" is not a total waste. It will be no more accurate than, say, a 14". What it will give you is a barrel easier to aim, although you will be trading that off for a less efficient marker. With your barrel you have 7" of it causing more friction on the paintball than is needed.Originally posted by Dark Warrior
