I'm shooting a lame Spyder Sonix, it works for the moment considering I'm a little more worried about technique but in order to see where the hell I'm shooting I need to get rid of the cloud of smoke that puffs out of my barrel every time I squeeze off a round.
I was thinking that compressed air might solve the problem, lack of tempreture change from tank to barrel.
One of the veterans at the field I play said I'd have to spend 500 bucks to get rid of that smoke...
I'd appreciate any feedback anyone has to give and any ideas to fixing my problem, thanks.

Actually, I would bet that you dont have an anti-syphon tube properly installed in your CO2 tank. This will mean that that gun draws a lot of liquid CO2, which is being expanded in the barrel. This is what is producing all the 'smoke' (in fact it's actually mist / fog). Try getting your marker and firing it without any paint in it like normal. See how much vapour is created. Now hold the marker so the bottle is pointing vertically upwards. Then fire 10-20 shots through it. If there is no anti-syphon in the tank you should now notice a massive decrease in the amount of vapour produced.

If you think you have an anti syphon already, it would be worth getting someone who knows what they're doing to check that when your gas bottle is screwed in, the anti syphon is pointing to the top of the tank, otherwise it's useless.

Hope that helps - you can get an anti syphon for about £3 I think - although it would cost a little to get it installed in the tank it's certainly cheaper than an air system.

Hope that helps,

Tom
