Been using a .695 for 10 yrs. No problems. A couple of times Ive borrowed a barrel, say 691 and below, and always get barrel breaks at some point with these sizes.

had a .696 back on my quest which it came stock with and it wasnt bad at all, now switched to a .693 cp barrell which seems to group a bit tighter

lol

Im with Gassy on this one.

Fairymuff getting a better bore-paint match slightly improves accuracy/efficiency... but ive allways used .692 because id rather sacrifice a little accuracy than increase my chances of having a barrel break....

Isnt paintball fundamentally accuracy by volume anyway? ;D

Shooting my NXT the other weekend, with no eyes (i snapped the eye wire) and a small insert 0.687 and not one break. I didnt match the paint, its just what i had in my barrel. Not one barrel break or chop.

Aslong as you have a consistent paint, i really don't see the point in over-boring.

Just my 2p

693. seems to do the trick.. the other guys tend to walk off wearing paint so its all good. for mills its always more important to be more accurate so meh. sizing may work there.
