barrel size

how do you work out what size back barrel to use?

should paint fall straight through?

should you be able to blow it through?

should it be tight?

i have been wondering what is the rule of thumb on this is.

Tight enough to hold the ball but easy enough to blow through with minimal effort

I was under the impression that current thinking was that you get a snugly fitting but clean roll through about 7 out of 10 ...the barrel holding the ball was a remnant of the cocker days adn no longer neccisary..

When i say blow the ball out i dont mean you should have to fill your lungs, just a wee pfffttt and out it comes

i feel that a good bore match also help with efficiency and accuracy. you may get a few more breaks

When your drilling 15bps at someone I prefer not to take that risk...Overboring gives you better consitency no ? (depending on paint of course) hence better lanes ...If I cant hit it, I try and get closer by running behind that lane

only ever have used 2 different sized barrells (nexus theroy ) one small bore and one large bore. normally a .693 and a .687/.689. Find it covers most circumstances

the last batch of silver draxxus i used a bore of .684 and it was rolling through !
