You can get the whole of the Scepter in alluminium, that was the one I was after, the previous one I had for my cocker was the one with the stainless back

Pheonix were meant to be getting them in a few months back so I held out for a while for them, but for some reason they never got any back in stock

They are cheaper buying them from the US, but the £40 postage for one barrel put me off...

I'm pretty impressed with the Pipe. It comes in any color you want (as long as you want black) and works like a charm. If you break a ball it shoots clean better and more quickly than any barrel I've used. Just my $.02.

I have never heard a single bad thing about the powerlyte sceptor. It seems to be the best insert style barrel to date. On the other hand, my personal preference is either a Dye boomstick or ultralite. The ultralites are about 5 oz less in weight, but I have found the boomers clean through breaks a bit better. As long as you get something that is well made, you probably won't be disappointed.
