A front player could always pole vault and and then mug your ass :)

It is supposed to ensure a longer more accurate trajectory but people will always argue against it. A would presume that a lot depends on the marker, air and position used?

What the hell do I know???

Thin it was Dave Youngblood (Dye owner) who said a few months back in PGI that barrel length made no differece to range/accuracy... and I would tend to take his word for it.

Front players tend to use shorter barrels, making them a smaller target. Longer barrels are handy for being able to push inflatable barricades etc to one side....

i have to disagree, i bought a longer barrel (8 inch stock to 14 inch smart parts) and i notice a huge difference in accuracy and distance/range. of course we are talking about a stock barrel so we all know that stock barrels suck.

Hah!
Buy the shinest barrel you can lay your hands on!:D :D :D

Only joking, youve got to get a barrel that fits the paint!
Or is that the other way round:confused:

Anyhow, buy something like a freak set (or similar) as they are extremly versitile especially as you can have any sized front you want!

Hope that this helps;)

Have read the article again, and what he actually says is anything over 12" does not make any difference....

And ANS, you are not talking about a like for like barrel, so there is no real comparison there is there :)
