Barrel help please

I'm trying to figure out which Barrel system or kit I should get.

I have a Timmy classic and I'm stuck between the following choices:

FREAK
PIPE
SCEPTER
EMPIRE

What do you guys think? I've heard good things about the PIPE. I can't seem to find them for sale in 12 inch. The demend for them must be incredible.

end of the day its a case of try em and see....

as for pipes im 99% sure they only do em in 14 inch

well, the empire would be a bad choice, for a few reasons, u get 5 backs, and if u change your marker....thats alot more backs u have to buy, the bores start at a high mm , around 6.85 or sumthing and its alot!!!

Forget the barrel systems, don't buy the hype

Buy a .693 CP barrel and that's it. no more barrels. If it's good enough for Bob it's good enough for Joe public like us.

If you really really really want to waste your money on a system then I'd get the scepter or the empire. Empire has good bore sizes but it's a huge kit you'll only ever use half of. Scepter is just cheaper.

I love the Empire

I thought about a freak system but had trouble with the idea of all those funny inserts, it'd be just my luck that I'd break the insert I used the most, so for me the empire looks to be my ideal choice. I'm gonna buy a full set when I get paid, so I'll let you know how they go.

I completely agree with Beaker. CP kits and timmies are probably the best combination ever. Their kits are very well priced to, you can get a full kit (though you dont need one for timmies), 3 fronts, 5 backs for little over 300, and they're quality.

im kinda thinking that we had it sussed a few years ago (i been playing over ten) when everyone had 3 or 4 one peice barrels and they just swapped em over if they were having major paint troubles..........

i remember pritty much every cocker owner (in my area anyway) had a jacko barrel, a ceramik and a boomstick

then suddenly everyone has freaks, if you ask me the jacko barrels were and still are one of the best barrels out there! just a shame noone makes em for impys or id still use one
