banning paintball????

1) Yes, 1st went 10 years ago been taking it seriously the last year or so
2) Yes, i'd have a lot more fee time and money on my hands!
3) It sucks, I can't think of a good reason to do it. i guess its the fact that guns are'nt popular in the public eye but still doen't justify banning it in my opinion.
4) As the phrase goes "Where theres a will, theres a way"
5) scary stuff but probually £1k+ last year but that included 2 2nd hand markers.
6) the expense, the lack of women and the fact i can't do it every day, but thats due to work and not paintballs fault!
7) it's really the gun thing that bothers them, they'll think about banning bananas next!
8) Yes, my best friends are ballers.
9) I guess like any new sport, you get addicted and your priorities in life change. All the ballers i know are very passionate about the sport and when they ain't playing ther're reading about it or talking about it. so some friendships may loose out, but get 'em balling and they'll soon know why we love it so.
i've also noticed that the men in paintball are a lot more interested in shiny shiny things...Bling,Bling!

12) Yes! educate the masses, get it on tv and show the ppl that it's a "Real" sport and should be taken seriously, we ain't the weekend warriors you think we are.
13) no, just the odd bruse here and there.oh and the lack of sleep due to getting up at stupid o'clock to go to a tourney!

Its a fantastic sport and i love playing it, it's one of the few sports where anyone can do it and gender,race etc just don't come into the equation. anyone can play with anyone without predjudice.All abilities are catered for and paintballers are some of the friendliest bunch of people you could meet, just go to a tourney and that comes across with the atmosphere as soon as you get there.
The main down side is the money(IMHO), but there isn't many sports where the equipment is cheap, but once you have the gear its only the paint bills and entrance/walk-on fees that you have to deal with. unless you're a tart and want to upgrade every 5 mins.
