Emailed them last night

Outlined why it couldn't have been a paintball marker that did it, and told them that these allogations are unfair and potentially damaging considering the recent pharce in Germany. I've asked them to either clarify or rectify, although I'm not holding my breath for a response.

as an industry spokesman he'd be well placed to speak up to the beeb and get this sorted....

Don't count on it. Go look at their Business New Page, I can guarantee there will be 2 totally conflicting pieces on a daily basis. Look at todays reports from the OECD, or Mortgage Lending is down, oh no it's not, it's up!

And anyway, after the Nurburging event the other year I did instantly think this could actually be Paintballers. Unfortunately, there are a small percentage of c*cks out there with paintball guns.

Yep, your right. However, it's somewhat strange that the minute something gets splatted with paint Paintball immediately gets the blame. Interesting don't you think?

Ceefax have reported a second attack on another of banksy's pieces, this time they state it was done with blue paint, no mention of anything paintball.
