Thats like asking a Pro Boxer why we should ban boxing, or asking someone who is a member of the Hunt why we should ban fox hunting, what a stupid question to ask a bunch of paintballers, why should we ban the sport you love so much, eh let me think......

NOPE can't think of any bad points to paintball providing all safety rules are adhered to.

nope this is a good thread for paintball
1,let every one try and find people killed by paintball(directly)
2,compare this to other figures from other sports,ie pick a nice safe one like fishing, golf ect
3,now people will hopfully realise, just how safe paintball is(when played properly):)

i think 2 have been killed by paintball, not first about one of them...but the other played on one of my mates's teams and basically he got shot in the neck and a few DAYS later he had a heart attack(note: he was about 40 me thinks), the doctor said it had NOTHING to do with paintball at all!!! so were safe there...the other i dont know...although some guy was killed filling a gas canister...although the same could be said about diving...or tyre specialists etc....

so the sport is pretty dam safe!!! i mean what other sport says....safety FIRST....remeber...the most important item(s) in paintball are your goggles....and eyes...

There was a study printed in the magazines a few months ago that compared paintball injuries to other major sports. As I recall, we came out as one of the safest sports around - safer than rollerblading, skateboarding, mountain biking, baseball, football and (believe it or not) golf. So safety-wise, there's no reason to ban paintball.
