already did this to my freak back a few weeks ago, turned out quite a nice dark purple/brown
wash well first for best results, be warned of nast fume smells though

right it has been in for 2 hours now and there is little colour change so i have moved it from middle of oven to top and turned up to gas mark 7 , will give it another hour and see if ought happens

mine been in oven for about a hour and no change will do the same to see if it speeds up!

ive now taken it out to cool down it has turned a bronze colour im quite impressed i will host pics in a bit

In a gas oven I whacked mine up full top shelf, half hour bish bash bosh done

cant get barrel back to show colour in pics

If all goes well with this barrel, then I shall try slapping a mini in to see how purple/aqua that comes out

i wonder what colour a gunmetal ego would go, might have to try the barrel (only a crappy solo one)
