Cheers bluey, yeah re checked the oring and face on the poppet, thought I may have put too much Lube on but cleaned and regreased very minimally, no difference, cheers for all the suggestions though mate.
never worry about putting too much lube on that brass bit, I cake mine, it really is the Crux of an Axe and I believe it to be the most important bit. I`ve sorted about 30 x Axes for air Leaks and not being able to reach FPS and I reckon 95% have been the Brass bit NOT lubed.
