no that was basic bb guns
no air weapon will never be classed as a "TOY"

These days the speed of some markers and the hoppers to keep up seems like autos

Ok just i thought i read somewhere on here that the markers were gonna get down graded cos bb guns are classed as toys yet they fire full auto and also use air as a propellent

its a very long story that i can't be arsed preaching in full,but it breaks down to energy/projectile.
gas powerd bb are governed,spring loaded are not

Yess, BB guns use air as a propellant, but it is soft air and generally requires the gun to be cocked right after, and the range of BB guns is much lower than that of air or paint guns. Now the BB guns that are powered by the 12 gram co2 cartridges are a little more powerful,but you will find that these are classed as air guns because they may fire pellets or small ball bearings. Now I know that these are definatly not toys because I know someone who had the side of his car window smashed with one of these which bb's can't do, so imagine what it would be like to get shot with one. Also I'm not sure how this stands on the BB guns that are battery powered because they do not use air and these fire automatically
