i've got a valve coming shortly from the states if you want I can get the guy to put extra parts with it as he is a dealer/agd whore

I think you may be right - soon the fields will be ringing to sound of crownpoints

Good luck finding those shims. I've got some that shipped as a kit with a new X-valve, but want to hang on to them just in case the LVL10 needs a tweak. It's always shot well out of the box since 2007 - but you never know.
