After a demonstration game in Rockhampton ( city sounds british ) of X BALL between the Aust Refs ( and a few ringins) and the 2 NZ teams MacDev have started this Comp.
Both teams used Cyborgs and used them to their full potential.
Full respect to all XBALL refs after seeing the speed and agression of XBALL.
The timing on this new competition is good as it was said before we are only now able to import markers from overseas so we can now buy any marker except pistols and full auto etc.
We are hoping that with the opening market of markers being imported into Australia that this may attract the most elusive of paintballs species, the major sponsor. But only time will tell.
Paintball is still illegal in a few states and territories of Australia ( we have 2 territories and 5 states )and I'm just glad I'm not in one of them.
