deep seated pshycolocical problems

Looking forward to Sunday

ps sorry about the threadjack :)
pps those ATS thingies are OOOGLY!

The ATS guns also have magazines with adaptors for adding a loader on it just like any other gun. Yes, I called it a GUN, and we would use it to play wargames in the woods. It is semi, burst, or full auto. Designed from the ground up versus a Spyder with add-on parts. The military and police train with these (and other manufacturer's) products. Tippmann has recently announced it is pursuing those contracts.

Silly attitude from you tourney-only minorities. The realism factor is going like gangbusters over here in the US. The industry has embraced it because the scenario/big game format is the fastest growing segment in paintball. It is fun escapism, hard play, and a tight, family-based, social community. Mackz Xtreme Sportz, one of the best US scenario producers, is going with a "Chronicles of War" theme (based mainly on computer games) next year due to player demand! The funny thing is, as the PSP/NPPL/X-ball adventure continues to fight for TV time, rec may beat them there, too. William Shatner is doing the morning show rounds to talk up his SPPLAT game(s) and DVD and cable station TNN is even going to televise a Kaye v. Orr California big game in 2003.

Welcome to paintball's future,

Shame on you for not understanding Irony. We jest each other, all part of what we call FUN.

Funny thing though, I could of sworn Shatner (a la Splatt Attack)was playering with a purple E-mag & Halo, not with something out of the Terminator.

Oh, TJ it was a bit of a thread jack (it was kinda a progression form the limited loader thing), for that we are sorry(ish). We are in reality Tourny-hoes (could you guess), but not opposed to those who want to play / re-inact War game things......

My apologies if it was tongue in cheek, but too many are condescending or downright hostile to the rec crowd (especially on this board). Hard to tell sometimes.

I use an Ir3 in basic black, but I have no problem with the mentality of those dressing up to play at war for a weekend. The fun of fantasy, and to each their own.

No problem, was'nt trying to be terse either. Funny enough, I use a Champagne Ir3, but always was a bit of a tart!!!

Dosen't bother me if people want to play mock wargames, but don't think from a public reception / take-up persepctive, this will ever be as popular in the UK. Especially when the do-gooder, PC brigade regard anything that is remotely gun'ish as a threat to the fabric of society!!!! BAHHH-HUMBUG, to the Daily Mail and their Middle Class Female readership (to those in the US, the Daily Mail has the most analy retentive viewpoint).
