Yup, before anyone assumes security was lax...... it wasn't, in fact visitors couldn't take a dump without producing a credit card for I.D. If it was lifted by a non-baller it happened outside the secure area....... maybe during the panic when everything was getting blown away? It may have been an honest mistake...... we were taking nine markers to each game and on one occasion one of my lot picked up a normal cocker instead of my spare E-blade (almost someones birthday) It might have been an honest mistake, so the person who finds it in their bag could just return in anonymously........... I had a good look at one of these monsters on Sunday, (sorry about the drool marks), and can I just point out, that not only is it impossible to sell this marker on, it will also be impossible to sell any of it's major parts....... most of it's components are instantly recognisable too.

Hopefully this will turn up, if someone has picked it up in a genuine mistake, i feel almost as sorry for them as i do for somanc.

If someone as nicked it though, the chances are they don't have a clue because anyone who does would see that they wouldn't be able to sell it on. This kind of person might mistakenly think that sanding it down might be the answer.:( and that would be terrible. {EDIT > as well as pointless.}

On the subject of some one mistakenly picking it up. Perhaps it might be worth advertising an address it could be sent to, so they could post it annonamously without the shame of admitting their error. Possibly the Just Paintball business address, i know it's on the web, but this could promt them.

If the PA are checking passes into and out of the players area, how about they issue some stickers with serial numbers on to stick on your gun so that each gun is registered to a player/players pass and only that player can take it into and out of the players area?

Thats a nice idea, but it would involve searching each individuals kit bag at the end of each event.
