Absolute rubbish :) If you can prove that you've got the Eggy 2 to feed a gun at 20bps I'll give you a brand new Halo and a case of paint. If you can prove you've got it to feed your gun at 17bps "most of the time" I'll give you a case of paint. :D

Beanyboy, you may need to sand either feed neck to fit your gun. It depends on the gun's feed neck. One may fit and the other not.

It just takes a bit of work with a file or dremel.

I have both, but then I am overly biased to the Halo :) The new halo's are much gentler on the paint and are constantly being developed/updated. The latest 'B's have yet again more software developments. You can also get 'upgrades' ;) for them such as rip drives etc (which allow you to tension up the balls and fire fast even if your batteries die).

I'm with Paul and Manike on this one.

20bps - not cat in hells chance in true semi.

Anyway - I have both and prefer the HALO, much better made, fast at ALL times and much easier on batteries. EvoII is unreliable for me.

My gun was modded and had to be tested with a HALO.

When i chrono again, i will take a small video of the BPS reading over the red competition chronograph to prove it to you guys... but i will need to borrow a HALO from someone on site!

I never said the EGGY feeds at 20bps... i said my gun did.

If its not the capped speed... why when you walk the trigger so fast does the cricket board beep? If you shoot ... what.... 15 bps through it or thereabouts = no beeping.

Please Please someone tell me what this means then!

My setup is fitted with a blade trigger... but it was set up a non-standard way with the spring and rear pin removed so it is less than 1mm pull. Its very light and walking gives a very quick return for fast rates of fire.

I have the following also, but probably not relevant: -

Eclipse stainless hammer
Eclipse Stainless new style valve cap
Eclipse DART bolt w/ very small amount of dow on... a warning not to put dow on is b*llox.
SP Clear Flexi Grips
Eclipse Fangz Dwell Cover

I will get some pics of the chrono if i can grab a HALO as promised... cheers.

Surely the beeping is when the vision is preventing you from firing becuase there's no ball in the breach? Therefore, find what fire rate gives you constant fire without beeping, and that's the feed rate of your hopper :)

egg2

I used my egg 2 for the first time today and the thing flys!
I using 2002 timmy and the hopper is like removing the choke it really is a very nice hopper.
I have also tried and halo and the results were poor fast yes but it broke paint in the breech due to the balls being forced i think that as halo is more money then surley it should be ready to go??
Also a nice touch with the egg2 i s if you break the collar yoiu can replace just that not the complete shell!
Just my 2p.
