yeah, but if you campare, it cost me £225 for a 4.5k air system a coupla weeks ago, i would have paid 3/4 to 1/2 of that in the US!!

Hospitals use 68/3000 psi bottles for oxygen and you can get those fairly cheap, like $30 instead of $100, then put on a regulator which you can pick up individually for an overall cheaper price than having bought it all at once. I know, I know, not the high spec you want, but it at least will do for a backup or entry level tank.

What gripes me is the price asked for screws, orings, and seals. I'm going to start measuring everything from now on. At one point in time 68caliber.com had a list of all the orings and screws for Cockers and a few other guns so you could buy them from the hardware/auto parts stores, but it's not available at present. $5.00 or more at times for a single seal or pin is just stupid.

Air is definitely overpriced, as everything in this sport is. Angel air regs are dear, but your paying for the electronics. If you dont want an all singing all dancing setup, then buy cheaper.
Bottles should definitly be cheaper, but remember it's this country that takes a fair chunk of money off us in tax and import duty. Just look at the prices in America, same bottles, maybe tested to DOT standard, but the same bottles.

When it comes down to the base line, this country is getting to be too expensive to run, and we're paying for it.
