40 isnt technically a cold wash, but i wash mine on 40 and it hasnt done them any harm yet, ive washed them lots of times too, the worst i can see to doing is messing up the elastic waiste band or the stretchy white + coloured side bits, but as i say, not done mine any harm

lol! So Airtime pants have been on the market for over a year now and no-one but Andy has washed theirs? Jeez is it any wonder there are so many single ballers out there? ;)

I'm sure the 'wool' cycle of the machine will do no harm to the pants and if you use a decent brand name detergent (ie not Chavosuds from the pound shop) they'll come out nice n clean even at low temps ;) I wouldn't suggest letting your Mrs iron them tho :D

If you really *have* to wash them (they work best when they don't bend), don't wash them higher than 60 degrees because the rubber bits come off and although they'll still protect your pins after a 60+ wash, they won't have the little words like "Airtime" on them any more.

This means you won't have as much respect from your peers and therefore your self respect will plummet. Lack of self-respect leads to a low self esteem and has a knock on effect on your confidence. This in turn affects reaction time and motivation (and therefore speed of accelration when beginning a sprint). All of this combined means you will be losing several metres per second off the break - the slight weight reduction due to the lack of rubber letters stuck to your angel pants has minimal effect on your running speed - and will be hitting your primanry break point a few milliseconds after you would have normally arrived there.

To summarise, washing your angel pants higher than 40 is Bad.

I think that as hers would be getting the very same treatment that she wouldnt risk it :) That or I'd make her try it on hers first to see what happened
