Rec Ball sites insurance costs are in the Tens of thousands, but for tourney sites, would it be the same. Thats the reason that at the M25, and NPPL and MS events every person signs a disclaimer stating that the management are under no circumstances responsible for ANY injury or loss of life/property. Do tourney sites even need insurance?

if your uncle still works on his farm he could get paid for set aside. This is where you leave 10% + of your farmland and dont grow anything on it so it has a chance to rebuild itself and you get paid for it. The good thing is that you can use it for things like paintball!!!!!!!!!!

1 class i listened in baby, get in there!

You still need insurance (Public Liability) Disclaimers are not worth anything, this just covers the site if you the player break the site safety rules. If the site supplies you with faulty equipment that causes you an injury then the site owner is still liable this is just one example on why site's need insurance and it's the same rules more so with Tourney sites.

does mean he needs 600+ acres tho!

Sorry if someone has already covered this

You would be suprised to know that many rental sites run without insurance.

They instead choose to rely on the disclaimer, which basicly isnt worth the paper it is written on unless it is backed up with proper insurance.

These sites seem to do allright for themselves and obviously are saving themselves alot of money. They are taking a huge risk which could leave the owner of the business in debt for the rest of his life.

Proper insurance as already stated can cost thousands and also be alot of work (you need a proper risk assessment, safety pricedures trained staff, first aid, the list goes on) but alot of sites that are doing well at the moment are running with no insurance at all!
