Back to useless trivia. Try this.
If you take a 9 volt out of your hopper, connect a wire to each terminal.
To the +wire, fasten a 5, 10, 20, or 50 pence piece. (UK money)
To the --wire, fasten a 1, or 2 pence piece.
Then half fill a glass with water, add a tea-spoon of salt and stir untill it dissolves.
Put the battery outside the glass, with the wires and coins inside the salt water. Make sure that the wires and coins don't touch, you may need to use sticky tape to hold them at either side of the glass.
Leave the whole thing over night or for 12 hours (ish).
You will be amazed to find that you now have, some dirty, salty water, 2 wet coins, a knackered 9 volt battery, and far too much time on your hands.
