anyone got a stiffy?

I use one of the CCM carbon fibre kits, which from what I understand are pretty much exactly the same as the stiffis but don't have the stiffi logo and are a tad cheaper.

I love it, sooo damn light. And as for durability - I gracefully tripped over the bunker tie down yesterday when starting to run up the field and face planted the ground barrel first.

Got about 2 inches of mud down the barrel which squeegied out rather nicely, no harm done to the barrel. Luvly.

Love them, use them all the time instead of the various other sets i have.

I have the actual bore size barrels which is a pain in the ass lugging them all arund so the set makes a lot of sense.

do the bore size barrels not come apart like the set then? cos was thinking of getting another front section as i've bought a 16" and it seems a little extreme now i've seen it!

If you got the switch kit, you can get a different length front just keep the backs.

If you got the standard barrel with a set bore size, you can't adjust it.

there goes my plan to buy a secondhand barrel for my cocker to expand my options then! never mind

As the man says, the barrel is fixed bore size. Still love them, brilliant, light and very accurate.

Only thing I would say to be wary of is that you arent supposed to fluffy's to clean them after a break.
